Life is definitely an interesting journey isn’t it! For many of us it is filled with normal and exciting challenges but it can also be filled with some very difficult and overwhelming ones too.
At such times, it is not unusual for us to feel some degree of emotional and psychological distress, which may affect our ability to cope with and work through these challenges. If left unresolved it may then start to affect other areas of our life such as our relationships, our work, our health etc. I believe that every individual has the ability to overcome difficult life challenges, to learn from these experiences and continue to work towards creating a rich and meaningful life. My aim as a Psychologist is to provide you with a supportive, caring, respectful, non- judgmental environment in which you can talk about your personal challenges/ difficulties, safely express your emotions in relation to these challenges and proactively explore solutions. I will introduce you to skills that can help you manage distressing emotions, overcome current difficulties and more confidently cope with challenges that you face today and in the future. |
